Know all men by these presents::
That I Wellington L. Buford of Gorin, Scotland County, Missouri being of sound mind and memory, do make and publish this my Last Will and Testament the manner and form following:
That is to say, First - It is my will that my funeral shall be conducted without pomp unnecessary parade or ostentation that the expense thereof together with all my just debts and obligations be fully paid.
Second - I give Devise and bequeath unto my beloved wife Mary Effie Buford All
of my Estate and Effects both Real and Personal that I may Die possessed of and
I direct that my Beloved wife Mary Effie Buford Be and is hereby empowered and
given the Right to sell all the Real Estate and Personal properties I may own
and if it be her choice to hold our home she may so elect so long as she may
desire
and I direct she use so much of the monies received from the sale of the
properties as is necessary to pay all of my just debts and obligations as above
stated and the remaining balance to belong to her and she to use as she may
desire.
And last I hereby constitute and appoint my said wife Mary Effie Buford to be the Executrix of this my last Will and Testament.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and seal this the 25th day of March A. D. 1922.

Signed Sealed Published and declared to us by Wellington L. Buford as his last Will and Testament and we on his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto as the date hereof.

Wellington's death certificate was signed by S. R. Short - James R. Parrish and W. C. Buford all of Gorin, Scotland County, Missouri. They duly swore that they viewed the body of Wellington and stated that it was indeed Wellington L. Buford. He died on the 24th of September 1928 at his farm in Gorin, Missouri.
