Know
all men by these presents that we, Abram Buford and Bartlett Collins are held
and firmly bound unto John Moseley, Lewis Nuckols, R. M. Gano and Samuel
Shepherd, Gentlemen - Justices of Scott County in the sum of 1,000£ current
money of Kentucky to be paid to the said justice or their successors in office,
the payment hereof will and truly be made. We bind ourselves and every one of
our heirs, executors and administrators jointly and severally firmly by these
presents sealed and dated this 26th day of November 1804.
The condition of the above obligation is such that if the above bound Abram
Buford his heirs, executors and administrators assigns shall will and truly pay
and deliver unto Patsy Lewis, Buford Lewis and Henry Lewis orphans of John Lewis
deceased, all such estate as is or hereafter become to the said orphans when
they shall attain lawful age. To demand the same and when there unto required by
the trustees for the time being for the said county and also discharge his duty
herein in manner as to save harmless and indemnify their justices their
successors from all trouble or damage which may arise about the said estate.
Then the above obligation to be void otherwise to remain in full force and
virtue.

Commonwealth of Kentucky to be paid to said commonwealth the payment whereof
will and truly to be made we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and
administrators jointly and severally by these presents sealed and dated this day
of August 1813.
The condition of the above obligation is such that if the above mentioned Buford
Lewis and his executors and administrators shall, will and truly pay and deliver
unto John Lewis, Orphan of John Lewis deceased, all such estate as now is or
hereafter shall become due to the said orphan when he shall attain to lawful age
to demand the same or when thereto required by the justices of the Scott County
Court for the County of Scott and also discharge his duty therein in such manner
as to save harmless and indemnify the justices of the Scott County Court now
setting - and their successors from all trouble or damage which shall or may
arise about the said estate.
