WEST POINT
New York
There
is a custom here at West Point, to place a small stone
on the monument of the person or persons
you came to visit and remember.

The
day we visited West Point was on Friday of "Grad Week."
We couldn't have picked a worse time. There were families of the Graduates
literally swarming all over West Point and 20 miles out surrounding the Military
school. It was virtually impossible to get a picture without people in it.
Every time I wanted to take a picture there were so many cars behind us we could
not stop. The streets are very narrow with few to none turn offs. It
is a beautiful School and knowing the history and knowing that several Buford's
as well as our collateral families are graduates made the visit well worth our
time.
