Paschal Buford, 80, dies at Austin home.
Paschal Buford 80, a resident of Dallas from 1918 to 1922, died Sunday night at his home at Austin after a long illness, his Dallas brother was notified. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Monday at Austin.
Born in Withville, Virginia, he moved to Bryan in 1880 and later lived at Marshall. He was a Mason and an elder in the First Presbyterian Church at Austin.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ella Buford, and a daughter, Mrs. O. D. Hudnall of Austin; a son, Paschal Buford Jr., Beaumont; two brothers, R. G. Buford, Dallas and Abraham Buford, Montvale, Virginia and three sisters, Mrs. H. G. Henderson, Falfurrias, Mrs. Katherine Buford Peebles, New York City and Miss Betty B. Buford, Washington, D.C.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Austin.
