21 - Mrs. Mary Martin Poynter died Monday night about 9 o'clock at her home on
Turner St. The funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10
o'clock at the residence, conducted by the Rev. S. M. Logan, pastor of the
Presbyterian church. One daughter, Mrs. A. G. Foster, El Paso, Texas; two
sisters, Mrs. B. M. Hieatt and Miss Margaret Martin, and three brothers, Henry
L. Martin, M. T. Martin and Thomas Martin, St. Louis, survive. Active
pall-bears will be E. L. Davis, Richard Godson, H. L. Martin Jr., J. R. Weller,
M. D. Offutt and William McCabe; Honorary pall bearers, J. C. Durrett, Dr. B. F.
Parrish, B. M. Hieatt, Robert Wallace, T. D. Martin, J. M. Hoge, John Graham, J.
A. Steele and Dr. W. E. Risque. Burial will be in Lexington cemetery.
