This church was
destroyed by fire in the early morning hours of
Friday, June 13, 2008.
Friday the 13th ??
Due to the many local storms in the vicinity it is thought that
it was caused by lighting.
Joe was known to visit
this cemetery many,
many times during his life time.
Not only to attend the various
family funerals but to reflect on his family history.
The land the church and
cemetery is sitting on belonged to the Buford family.
