REPORT CONFIRMED
Mr. McDowell sold Geranium and Roycroft
His stable on way Home
Mr.
Thomas C. McDowell reached home last night from New York where his stable has
been racing this year. He has ordered his horses shipped to Lexington, and
they will reach here today or tomorrow. Mr. McDowell confirms the reported
sale of Geranium and Roycroft, which was published several days ago. The
price for the two being given as $10,000. He would not, however, either
affirm or deny the accuracy of the reported price, saying that was private.
Among the horses which Mr. McDowell had shipped home are Alan-a-dale, King's
daughter and Lady Ann.
