1947
Mr. and Mrs. Crawford Anderson of Seattle
have announced the engagement of their daughter, Barbara, to Mr. Curtis Donald
Buford, 3259 Stockholm Road, Shaker Heights, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Homer
Buford of Evanston, Illinois. Miss Anderson was graduated form the
University of Washington, where she belonged to Delta Gamma and to two honorary
societies, Phi Beta Kappa and Mortar Board. She is a member of the Seattle
Tennis Club. Mr. Buford was graduated from Massachusetts Institute of
Technology and attended the University of Washington. He belongs to Phi Gamma
Delta and Chi Epsilon, the latter an honorary engineering fraternity. He
was in the army for three and one-half years and served in Alaska and in the
European theater. The couple plan to be married April 29 in Seattle in
Trinity Episcopal Church, and will reside in Cleveland, Illinois.
