Mr.W. Brown Buford of Nicholasville, was in town Saturday. Mr. Buford was the Republican candidate for the Representative of his county in the Legislature, and although Jessamine generally goes several hundred Democratic, his opponent's majority was only 16. He is an exceedingly popular young man and an all-round good fellow.
