Bill O. Buford accidentally shot and fatally wounded Elijah Morris a sixteen year old son of Robert Morris near Orlando Tuesday morning. The boy lingered until Wednesday morning. From information we can gather it seems that Buford was snapping a pistol, under the impression it was not loaded. The boy returning from work in the field happened to come in range of the pistol when it fired.
